The Land of Beds Derwent mattress incorporates 1000 individual pocket springs with cooling Gel. Each mattress is meticulously made with a layer of breathable, supporting Gel providing maximum comfort for an amazing night's sleep. The fibres have also been treated with Bug Guard which will destroy dust mites and bed bugs.

  • 1000 Pocket Springs - The pocket spring system is the best at providing individual support to the sleeper. The upper layer of springs shape to the body contours while the lower layers absorb changes in weight distribution for the ultimate in comfort and support. As a rule of thumb the higher the number of individual springs, the more support will be provided to the sleeper. The springs work independently to avoid roll together.
  • Breathable Gel Foam - The latest new filling which helps you keep cooler and fresher throughout the night. Gel Feel foam pad offers optimum comfort and pressure relieving support along with a luxurious feel and re-bound characteristics comparable to latex. The structure of the Gel foam allows for greater breathability within the mattress and your body temperature will dissipate quickly and effectively for a more constant temperature throughout the night.

We bought the mattress only, as ours was a good few years old. The old mattress was not helping my back, I had difficulty turning over, and had many disturbed nights. The new mattress took a few nights to get used to, simply because it was so different to our old one. I find that it's warm, soft, and the mattress seems to mold around my body, supporting my back. I am amazed at how this mattress, has made a huge difference, to the quality of my sleep, and for its comfort. It's the best purchase we have made in a long time.
