This is entirely different material to other mattress protectors. It’s waterproof yet breathable. (Unlike other waterproof ones I’ve tried you don’t sweat with it) So it’s protecting my very expensive purchase of the Tempur mattress. Very pleased with it.

A must for a new Tempur mattress for adjustable base. The mattress protector needs to be slighly longer than standard (ie 6'6”) as the mattress is longer. Washes and tumble dries quickly. Have bought second set solely for convenience.

I bought the Tempur-Fit Mattress Protector to put on our new Tempur Sensation Luxe mattress. The one thing I've noticed about Tempur is the quality of their products which are excellent. The Tempur-fit Mattress Protector is one of the thinnest I've ever seen. Yet it works fantastically. It feels just like a fitted sheet, in fact you can sleep directly on the protector instead of a sheet if you wanted too. We put a fitted sheet on top of the protector and can confidently say it does not make you hot! It also has some stretch so fits snuggly to the actual mattress, it doesn't ride up or get wrinkled under the sheet so you've got a nice smooth surface to sleep on every night! Made of Tencel material and Polyurethane, it is machine washable up to 90 degrees and tumble dry safe. Washing is as simple as putting it in with your bed linen. If you invest in a Tempur mattress it majes sense to add the Tempur-fit mattress protector as Tempur hates water! It also keeps it clean and stain free. Backed by a 3 Year Guarantee from Tempur!

Expensive for a mattress protector. But on the plus side, I never notice it is there once a sheet is laid on top. No sound or feel of something plastically underneath you, as you can get on cheaper versions. And with a mattress costing as much as it does, it is worth protecting it from the human body.

The extra protective cover is an excellent 'add-on' but could do with more fitting material underneath the mattress to prevent creasing and rucking on the top of the mattress. I have installed elastic straps underneath to keep the cover properly in place.
