Do You Qualify for VAT relief?
You’re eligible for VAT relief if any of the following apply to you:
Physical or Mental Impairment
- You have a physical condition that has a long-term adverse effect on your ability to carry out everyday activities (such as mobility issues, chronic pain, or breathing difficulties).
- You have a mental impairment with long-term adverse effects on your ability to conduct regular, everyday duties.
Chronic Illness
- You have a condition that’s treated by the medical profession as a chronic sickness (such as diabetes, arthritis, or heart conditions).
Terminal Illness
- You have been diagnosed with a terminal illness.
Important Requirements
- The adjustable bed must be specifically to assist with your disability or condition.
- The bed must be for personal or domestic use only.
What Doesn’t Qualify
You’re not eligible if you’re:
- Elderly but not disabled
- Temporarily disabled (short-term injuries or conditions)
How to Get Your VAT-Free Quote
Step 1: Contact Our Sales Team Speak to us via Live Chat or Call us on 01928 242829 and speak to one of our sales advisors. Tell them you believe you qualify for VAT relief.
Step 2: Receive Your VAT-Free Quote and Pay Our sales advisor will remove the VAT from your quote immediately, and you can pay the VAT-free amount straight away – no waiting around.
Step 3: Complete the VAT Exemption Form Before we can process your order, you’ll need to complete and return a VAT exemption form. This is a legal requirement that confirms you meet the eligibility criteria.
Step 4: Enjoy Your New Adjustable Bed Once we receive your completed form, we’ll process your order, and your new adjustable bed will be on its way.
Important: If we find that you’re not eligible for VAT relief after reviewing your form, your sales advisor will contact you to arrange payment for the VAT amount.
