At Land of Beds we are passionate about the importance of a regular and consistent sleep pattern and how this can affect quality of life. Our company motto is ‘a good night’s sleep begins with a great bed’. Our job is provide our customers with the best suited bed for them at the most affordable price possible. 

The company itself has over 40 years experience within the home furniture industry. It was first established by Harold C Murray in retail premises in Liverpool, North West England during the 1970s. Harold was later joined by his son Michael, developing a number of furniture stores in Merseyside & Cheshire. In 2002, Michael junior joined the family business after completing his masters in marketing at Liverpool University and has now gone on to become the managing director of the company today. 

The company is passionate about customer service. Therefore, recently they developed a comprehensive training package for all staff enabling them to keep up to date with the very latest in sleep technology and innovations in design. As a result, customers can be sure they are receiving individualised, specialist advice to ensure they have a good night’s sleep. The customer care and advice line is operated 7 days a week were a bed specialist can answer any of your questions regarding the company’s sleep products. 

During the past 5 years the company has invested in a state of the art e-commerce web site to extend their business model to a wider audience. Coupled with their growing retail business the new concept ensured the company would stay one step ahead of the competition and keep in line with the growing number of customers who prefer to purchase online. 

Because the company invested heavily in technology and back end development they have been able to reduce overheads and pass these savings on to customers who choose to buy direct over the Internet. In addition to the dedicated back room sales team and customer service co-workers the company now operate a nationwide delivery team, enabling customer in England, Scotland, and Wales to enjoy their products.

The company have continued to reinforce and build their working relationships with the UK’s largest bed manufactures such as Sealy, Relyon, Dunlopillo, Slumberland, Myers, Hypnos and Silentnight.
