Which Airsprung mattress will be best for me?
Side sleepers prefer a slightly softer mattress that cushions the hips and shoulders while still allowing them to sink into the mattress a little. How do I open and unroll my mattress?
When you are ready to use your mattress, simply unpack your roll up mattress by carefully cutting the plastic packaging and rolling the it out to its full size before placing on the bed. Give your mattress a chance to slowly expand to its original size over a few hours before sleeping on it.
Can I sleep on my mattress straight away?
Many Airsprung mattresses come vacuum packed and typically require 2-8 hours to fully inflate. Attributes such as fillings and size can all affect the amount of time it takes for your mattress to expand and return to its original size. It can take as long as 24-48 hours - however, most are usually ready to use after 2 hours.
Do Airsprung mattresses smell?
Like all new products, you might notice a slight ‘new’ smell when opening your mattress – this is perfectly normal. The odour will usually have dissipated within 24-48 hours, and we recommend opening your mattress in a well-ventilated room (windows open) to speed up the process.
How long can I store my mattress in the box?
We recommend opening your Airsprung mattress immediately, however it can remain in the delivery box for a maximum of four weeks after delivery. Failure to open the mattress within this timescale might lead to your mattress not expanding to its full flat size and not provide you with the comfort you expect. It will also void the guarantee.
Do I need to turn my Airsprung mattress?
There is no need to turn/flip an Airsprung mattress, however we recommend using the flag stitched handles to rotate it once a month, for the first six months. Once every three months should suffice thereafter.
