Vs softer models: The Octasmart Premium Deluxe sits at the softer end of the Dormeo Premium range, but it is not a fully soft mattress. The Octaspring® core and five-zone construction still provide meaningful underlying support that a standard soft mattress typically lacks. If you want maximum cushioning with none of the structural support, a dedicated soft mattress may feel more immediately plush - but you will sacrifice the body-zone alignment that makes this mattress genuinely good for combination sleepers.

Vs the Octasmart Premium Classic: The key difference is the comfort layer. The Classic uses Aerocell foam and sits at medium firm (4/6); the Deluxe adds a double-thickness memory foam top layer, bringing the feel down to soft medium (2/6). If you sleep on your side or are a lighter sleeper who finds the Classic too firm, the Deluxe is the natural step up in comfort. If you need more support for back or front sleeping, the Classic is the better choice.
