What it is: Two non-storage base options are available. The Platform Top has a sturdy, firm foundation upholstered in fabric. The True Edge Pocket Sprung base contains 1,000 pocket springs beneath the upholstery, providing support right up to the edge of the bed.
How it helps you: The Platform Top gives a consistent, supportive feel across the entire mattress surface. The True Edge base adds responsiveness at the perimeter and can help extend the life of your mattress. Both bases are manufactured from FSC-accredited timber, including wood from Harrison Spinks' own forests in North Yorkshire, and are covered by the full 10-year guarantee.
Platform Top End Opening Ottoman Storage
What it is: A gas-ram assisted mechanism that lifts the entire base top to reveal a large storage cavity beneath. A king size ottoman base holds approximately 6 times more than a standard 2-drawer divan. This option is supplied with glides as standard.
How it helps you: Storage without sacrificing sleep quality - ideal if you need to store bedding, seasonal items or bulky belongings and don't need daily access. There is no drawer storage option available on this base.

What it is: A natural-filled pocket spring mattress available in Soft, Medium or Firm tension, built on 7,750 nested pocket springs (5,000 HD Pocket Springs, 1,000 Posturfil Pocket Springs and 1,750 Advanced Cortec™ Quad Revolution Pocket Springs) and layered with British Wool, viscose, flax, cotton and hemp. When we remove your old bed or mattress, we ensure that it is disposed of in an environmentally responsible way. All products are sent to The Furniture Recycling Company, the UK's largest and most trusted furniture recyclers.

What beds do you offer assembly on?
We offer bed assembly on all divan beds and electric adjustable beds. We currently do not offer assembly on any flat pack beds, such as bed frames, bunk beds, guest beds etc. ... these will all come with instructions and take approx. 60 minutes to build.
How long does bed assembly take?
The time it takes depends on the type of bed. Divan beds take two people approximately 30 – 45 minutes, and adjustable beds take about 1 hour.
What happens during bed assembly?
Assembly is carried out on the day of delivery. Our team will carry the product to your room of choice, unpack, inspect it, and assemble it. This service takes two people on average 30 – 45 minutes. We will also take away all packaging and recycle it.
