Not ideal for
ReActiveProâ„¢ 7-Turn Pocket Spring System
What it is: Hypnos's expertly engineered pocket springs with 7 active turns in a single continuous design that senses individual comfort requirements.
How it helps you sleep: Provides total body comfort by sensing the exact support needs of each sleeper, while its bellow-like action drives cool air around the mattress to reduce moisture and maintain a comfortable temperature.
Red Tractor Assured British Wool
What it is: A soft, insulating upholstery layer of British wool sourced from Red Tractor certified farms, with full supply chain traceability.
How it helps you sleep: Naturally regulates temperature to keep you cool in summer and warm in winter, while its hygroscopic properties wick away body moisture for a dry, comfortable surface.
eOlusâ„¢ Sustainable Fibre
What it is: A sustainable comfort layer made from repurposed discarded polymer-based bottles, with a unique vertically crimped design that facilitates air circulation.
How it helps you sleep: Actively regulates body temperature and wicks moisture more efficiently than foam, while keeping a similar soft, spongy texture for added comfort.
Triple Edge Protectionâ„¢
What it is: Hypnos's higher-tension edge spring system providing true edge-to-edge support with a non-roll-off reinforced edge.
How it helps you sleep: Extends the usable sleeping area right to the very edge and prevents roll-off, giving you full comfort and support across the whole surface.
M-Pure Treated Cover
What it is: A 100% Viscose cover treated with M-Pure, a 100% sustainable, biodegradable, bio-based natural fire retardant used instead of chemical retardants.
How it helps you sleep: Gives a fresh, hygienic sleeping surface made with natural ingredients, for a safer, healthier sleep environment.
Hand Tufted with 2 Rows of Hand Side Stitching
What it is: A traditional hand-tufting method that secures the fillings from top to bottom, finished with two rows of hand side stitching applied by senior upholsterers.
How it helps you sleep: Keeps the fillings evenly distributed to prevent lumps, while the side stitching strengthens the borders, stops the springs distorting and extends the sleeping area to the very edge.
Flag-stitched Handles & Chrome Air Vents
What it is: Flag-stitched handles on both sides and chrome-finished ventilation eyelets set into the mattress borders.
How it helps you sleep: The handles make turning and rotating the mattress easy for even wear, while the chrome vents promote air circulation to regulate temperature and keep the mattress fresh.

Vs firmer models: Firmer (5/6 and 6/6) mattresses suit heavier sleepers and dedicated front sleepers who want a more rigid, supportive surface. The Cambridge Deluxe keeps that stable support but with a touch more cushioning balance, which works better for combination sleepers who shift position.
Vs softer models: The Cambridge Deluxe has noticeably more structural support and stability beneath the comfort layers. Softer mattresses can feel more immediately plush and give better shoulder and hip relief for side sleepers, but may not hold spinal alignment as consistently for back and front sleepers.
Vs premium / luxury ranges: The Cambridge Deluxe shares the same handcrafted construction, natural British Wool fillings and ReActiveProâ„¢ pocket spring technology as Hypnos's higher-end models. The difference is typically in the depth of the comfort layers and the number of fillings - for example, the Hypnos Premier Deluxe adds a pillowtop and a softer medium (3/6) feel - rather than any compromise in quality or craftsmanship.
The Cambridge Deluxe is backed by Hypnos's free 10-year manufacturer's guarantee against defects in materials and workmanship. Given the quality of the natural materials and the handcrafted construction, this is a mattress built to last - the guarantee reflects that.
The Hypnos Cambridge Deluxe has received the following awards and accreditations:
The Hypnos Cambridge Deluxe delivers a rare combination: stable, supportive comfort, responsive pocket springs, and breathable natural materials - all handcrafted in Britain and backed by a free 10-year guarantee. If you change position through the night, share a bed, or simply want a mattress that feels as good in five years as it does on night one, this is the one to consider.
