The Land of Beds Athena is a white single children's bed with four built-in storage drawers, two on each side, and a slatted headboard. Made from particleboard with a laminated white finish, the Athena sits on a solid board base and accepts a standard UK Single mattress (90 x 190cm) up to 19cm deep. It is a practical choice for compact children's bedrooms or guest rooms, giving parents room to store clothes, bedding and toys without adding more furniture to the room. The headboard is included, and the bed arrives flat packed in 3 boxes.

Vs standard single bed frames:: Standard single bed frames often leave the space beneath the bed open or unused. The Athena takes the same standard UK Single mattress but builds four storage drawers into the frame, so clothes, bedding and toys have a home without the need for a separate chest of drawers.
Vs other kids bed sub-types:: Mid sleepers, high sleepers and cabin beds raise the sleeping platform to free up space for a desk, play area or larger storage, but they need a ladder and suit older, more confident children. The Athena sits at standard height, so it is easy to get in and out of, while the side drawers still add useful storage.
Vs other kids beds in the range: Particleboard beds with a laminated finish like the Athena offer built-in storage and a clean, modern look at an accessible price. Solid pine children's beds cost more but give a natural timber frame, and many offer storage only as an optional add-on rather than as standard.

All of our children's beds come flat packed for ease of transportation and access into your home, full instructions and fixing kits are provided. Assembly takes approximately 45 mins with two people.
