Is the Essence Mattress Protector fully waterproof?
Yes. The Essence uses a polyurethane (PU) membrane bonded beneath the knitted polyester surface, which provides a complete barrier against liquid, moisture and spills. It is fully waterproof, not just water resistant.
Will it make a crinkling noise when I move in bed?
No. The soft knitted polyester top surface is designed to be quiet and comfortable against the skin. Unlike older waterproof protectors, there is no plastic-feel layer on the sleep surface, so you should not notice any noise when you move.
Will it make me sleep hot?
The Essence is designed with breathability and moisture control in mind, so it performs better than a standard waterproof protector in terms of heat management.
