The Opus is an upholstered ottoman bed from Land of Beds, finished in soft fabric upholstery and available in Small Double, Double and King Size. Built on a gas-lift base using piston rams, the frame opens from the side and can be fitted to either side of the bed, revealing 23cm of under-bed storage across the full footprint. The wooden sprung slatted base adds a gentle, responsive feel beneath the mattress, and the 49cm foot end gives the bed a considered, classic profile that suits a range of bedroom styles.

Vs drawer storage beds: An ottoman base lifts as one unit to reveal the full footprint of storage beneath, so it needs clear floor space on the opening side rather than room to pull out a drawer. It suits rooms where wall space is at a premium, but daily-access items are easier to reach in a drawer bed.
Vs divan beds: A divan set is sold with its own mattress and sits closer to the floor, while this ottoman frame is sold separately from its mattress and has a more visible, styled headboard and base.
