A handcrafted divan bed set from Lewis & Jones, including the Serenity Deluxe medium (3/6) pocket spring mattress with gel-infused memory foam and a bamboo cover, an upholstered Platform Top base available in a range of fabrics and colours, optional drawer or ottoman storage, and a free 5-year guarantee covering both base and mattress.

Not ideal for
Worth knowing:
Platform Top Base
What it is: A solid FSC-certified wooden platform top base, upholstered in fabric.
How it helps you: Provides a firm, consistent, supportive surface across the entire mattress, helping prolong the mattress's life. The base is a genuine Lewis & Jones base covered by the full 5-year guarantee.
Storage Options
What it is: Choose from no storage, optional divan drawers, or a side or end opening ottoman base that lifts on gas rams to reveal a large storage cavity.
How it helps you: Drawers offer easy day-to-day access without lifting the mattress. The ottoman option suits customers who want maximum storage volume and don't need daily access - as a guide, a king size ottoman base holds around 6 times more than a 2-drawer divan.
The Included Mattress: Lewis & Jones Serenity Deluxe
What it is: A medium (3/6) pocket spring mattress with 3,031 individually wrapped springs, a gel-infused memory foam comfort layer, foam-encapsulated edges, and a quilted bamboo cover (23% Bamboo / 77% Polyester), finished with 4 rows of side stitching, flag-stitched handles and chrome air vents.
How it helps you: The gel-infused memory foam contours to your body and disperses heat, while the 3,031 pocket springs provide responsive, independent support beneath. The bamboo cover is naturally breathable and hypoallergenic. This is an easy-care, single-sided mattress - rotate head to toe regularly to maintain even wear.

Vs bed frames: A divan set sits lower to the floor and has a more minimal visible profile than most bed frames, with a fully upholstered base and no exposed legs or joints. The set includes the mattress, whereas bed frame buyers purchase their mattress separately. Bed frames offer more design variety but no integrated base support built specifically for the mattress.
Vs other divan sets in this price range: At this price point, the Serenity Deluxe stands out for its high 3,031 pocket spring count, gel-infused memory foam comfort layer and 5-year guarantee covering both base and mattress - features that are often reduced or absent in cheaper divan sets. The Platform Top base and foam-encapsulated mattress edges add durability that budget options can lack.
Vs premium and luxury divan ranges: This set shares the same upholstered base construction and pocket spring technology found in higher-priced divan ranges. The difference is typically in the depth and range of natural fillings used in the mattress, rather than any compromise in base quality or craftsmanship.
The Lewis & Jones Serenity Deluxe Divan Bed is backed by Lewis & Jones's 5-year manufacturer's guarantee, covering both the base and mattress against defects in materials and workmanship. With a dense 3,031 pocket spring mattress and a solid Platform Top base, this is a set built for lasting comfort - the guarantee reflects that.
National Bed Federation (NBF) Approved - Independently verified to meet strict UK standards for quality, safety and responsible manufacturing.
NBF Pledge for our Planet - Lewis & Jones is part of the National Bed Federation's industry-wide Pledge for our Planet, a five-point commitment to reduce environmental impact at both a company and product level.
The Serenity Deluxe Divan Bed delivers a genuinely complete sleep package: a supportive Platform Top base and a responsive, cooling pocket spring mattress, handcrafted in Great Britain and backed by a 5-year guarantee. If you're a side, back or front sleeper, want integrated storage, or simply want base and mattress chosen to work together from day one, this set is well worth considering.

The mattress is 30cm and the base is 30cm making a total of 60cm.
This is an easy-care mattress, which means you do not need to turn the mattress over, however, you should rotate from head to toe on a regular basis to ensure even use.
As with all mattresses, there may be a slight smell when first opened. We liken this to a new car smell, which is non-harmful and will disappear within a few hours.
This divan bed comes with wheels also known as castors.
