Vs bed frames: A divan set sits lower to the floor and has a more minimal visible profile than most bed frames, with a fully upholstered base and no exposed legs or joints. The set includes the mattress, whereas bed frame buyers purchase their mattress separately. Bed frames offer more design variety but no integrated base support for the mattress.
Vs other divan sets in this price range: The Inspire Luxury Prestige set stands out for its 6950 individually pocketed springs, pillowtop layer and natural wool, silk and Cashgora wool fillings rather than synthetic alternatives found in cheaper divan sets. The 10-year warranty covering both base and mattress also reflects the quality of the handcrafted construction.
Vs premium and luxury divan ranges: This set shares the same upholstered base construction, pocket spring technology and natural fillings as other Millbrook divan ranges. The difference is typically in the number of pocket springs and the depth of the comfort layers, rather than any compromise in base quality or craftsmanship.
The Inspire Luxury Prestige divan set is backed by Millbrook's 10-year manufacturer's warranty, covering both the base and mattress against defects in materials and workmanship. Given the quality of the natural fillings and handcrafted construction, this is a set built to last - the warranty reflects that.
National Bed Federation (NBF) Approved - Independently verified to meet strict UK standards for quality, safety and responsible manufacturing.
Planet Mark Sustainability Certificate - Demonstrates a verified commitment to lower carbon emissions and more sustainable manufacturing.
FSC Certified Timber - The base frame uses timber from Forest Stewardship Council-approved forests, confirming responsible and sustainable forest management.
Handmade in Britain - Every Inspire Luxury Prestige divan set is handcrafted in the UK by expert Millbrook craftsmen.
The Inspire Luxury Prestige divan set delivers a rare combination: an indulgent handcrafted pillowtop mattress with natural fillings, paired with a matched base built from FSC-certified timber and backed by a 10-year warranty covering both. If you want a complete sleep package with a choice of tension, the height of pillowtop luxury and integrated storage, this is one to consider.
