UniCased® XT
What it is: A structural edge support system with keys that lock into the spring unit, plus unique air channels for greater breathability.

Vs firmer mattresses: The Arden's Medium Softness Foam and MemorySense™ ComfortCore™ give noticeably more cushioning than a firmer mattress, while AlignSupport™ Coil still provides dependable underlying support. If you're a side or combination sleeper who wants extra softness, this is the better choice. Firmer mattresses suit heavier sleepers or those who want a more rigid, supportive surface.
Vs medium mattresses: This mattress offers a little more softness and cushioning than a medium mattress, while AlignSupport™ Coil and BasePlank still provide stability underneath. Medium mattresses suit a broader range of sleeping positions, while the Arden is built specifically for those who want extra pressure relief.
Vs premium and luxury mattresses: This mattress shares the same patented AlignSupport™ Coil technology and ProShield® treatment found in higher-priced Sealy ranges. The difference is typically in the depth and number of comfort layers, rather than any compromise in spring quality or craftsmanship.
The Arden is backed by Sealy's 7-year manufacturer's guarantee against defects in materials and workmanship. Given the patented AlignSupport™ Coil construction, this is a mattress designed to last - the guarantee reflects that.
Good Housekeeping Approved 2025 - Independently tested and approved by the Good Housekeeping Institute, whose expert researcher praised the collection's comfort, support and quiet performance night after night.
National Bed Federation (NBF) Approved - Independently verified to meet strict UK standards for quality, safety and responsible manufacturing.
ProShield® Treatment - Endorsed by Allergy UK - Independently endorsed by Allergy UK, confirming the anti-allergen treatment meets recognised standards for reducing allergen exposure.
The Arden delivers a soft-to-medium feel with genuine cooling and allergen protection, backed by Sealy's patented AlignSupport™ Coil technology and approved by Good Housekeeping. If you're a side or combination sleeper looking for extra pressure relief, this is well worth a closer look.
