Vs firmer mattresses: The Exquisite Palatial's Pillow Top and EcoLux™ ComfortCore® give noticeably more cushioning than a firmer mattress, while the RestSupport® Coil still provides dependable underlying support. If you want a versatile medium feel with genuine cooling and hygiene credentials, this is the better choice. Firmer mattresses suit those who want a more rigid, no-give surface throughout.
Vs softer mattresses: This mattress has more underlying structure than a soft mattress, thanks to the RestSupport® Coil and 2000 micro pocket spring combination, helping it maintain support for back, front and combination sleepers. Softer mattresses can feel plusher at first touch but may not offer the same consistent support over time.
Vs other premium mattresses: This mattress sits at the very top of Sealy's range, combining Titanium-enriched springs, graphite-infused cooling foam and a natural probiotic cover - a level of specification not typically found even among other premium options. It is also the deepest mattress in Sealy's range, so deeper fitted sheets may be needed.
The Exquisite Palatial is backed by Sealy's 10-year manufacturer's guarantee against defects in materials and workmanship. Given the Titanium-enriched spring construction and premium multi-layer build, this is a mattress designed to last a lifetime of restful nights - the guarantee reflects that.
Good Housekeeping Sleep Awards 2025 Winner - Independently tested and recognised by the Good Housekeeping Institute's Sleep Awards, with testers praising its comfort, breathability and stability, even when sharing with a partner.
National Bed Federation (NBF) Approved - Independently verified to meet strict UK standards for quality, safety and responsible manufacturing.
The Exquisite Palatial delivers a rare combination of Titanium-enriched support, genuine cooling and natural allergen protection, recognised with a Good Housekeeping Sleep Awards win. If you want the very best Sealy has to offer, this is well worth a closer look.
Choosing a mattress online takes trust. That's why the Exquisite Palatial comes with a 100 night comfort guarantee - if it doesn't feel right, we'll exchange it. View the full mattress trial policy.
