Vs firmer mattresses: The pillow top layer on the Memory Deluxe Ortho gives you noticeably more cushioning at the surface than a firmer mattress, while the PostureTech springs still firm up under pressure for genuine support. If you like a supportive feel but want a softer top layer, this is the better choice. Firmer mattresses suit those who want a more rigid, no-give surface throughout.
Vs softer mattresses: This mattress has considerably more underlying structure than a soft mattress, which helps maintain spinal alignment for back, front and combination sleepers. Softer mattresses can feel plusher at first touch but may not offer the same consistent support over time, particularly for heavier sleepers or those with back pain.
Vs premium and luxury mattresses: This mattress shares the same orthopaedic design principles and twice-tempered spring construction found in higher-priced ranges. The difference is typically in the depth of the comfort layers and the range of natural fillings used, rather than any compromise in the quality of the support system itself.
The Memory Deluxe Ortho is backed by Sealy's 5-year manufacturer's guarantee against defects in materials and workmanship. Given the twice-tempered spring construction and durable foam layers, this is a mattress designed for lasting support - the guarantee reflects that confidence.
National Bed Federation (NBF) Approved - Independently verified to meet strict UK standards for quality, safety and responsible manufacturing.
The Memory Deluxe Ortho delivers orthopaedic-led support, a comforting pillow top feel and genuinely recyclable materials - all designed with the International Orthopaedic Advisory Board and made in Great Britain. If you're a back, front or combination sleeper looking for a supportive medium-firm feel, this is well worth a closer look.
Choosing a mattress online takes trust. That's why the Memory Deluxe Ortho comes with a 100 night comfort guarantee - if it doesn't feel right, we'll exchange it. View the full mattress trial policy.
