The Simba Hybrid® Kids Mattress is a five-layer hybrid mattress built around Simba's patented Aerocoil™ titanium alloy microsprings and cushioned with graphite-infused Simbatex® foam. At 16cm deep, it's designed to fit safely into both single beds and bunk beds, and is suitable for children aged 3 and above through to adult use. The knitted, machine-washable cover makes it easy to keep fresh - which is exactly what you need with children.
A medium-feel hybrid children's mattress, built for growing sleepers aged 3 and above, with responsive Aerocoil™ spring support, breathable Simbatex® foam and a washable cover - designed to fit safely in single and bunk beds.
Medium Feel - 3/6: The goldilocks option - not too firm, not too soft. Medium is the most versatile firmness level, balancing comfort and support in a way that suits most sleeper types. For children, this means the mattress supports them through all the positions they naturally move into during the night, without being either too hard or too yielding for growing bodies.

Aerocoil™ Titanium Alloy Springs
What it is: Simba's titanium alloy spring system providing individual support with pressure relief and motion isolation.
How it helps you sleep: As the springs compress, they push fresh, cooling air through the mattress, helping regulate temperature while providing exceptional support and pressure relief. Each spring responds independently to movement, keeping children comfortable however they sleep.
Fresher Feel Simbatex®
What it is: Simba's advanced foam combining comfort with graphite temperature-regulating properties for long-lasting, hypoallergenic support.
How it helps you sleep: Keeps children cooler each night while offering long-lasting support similar to memory foam, with hypoallergenic properties for a healthier, more refreshing sleep.
CertiPure Foam Layers
What it is: Simba's high-quality certified foam layers free from harmful chemicals, with an open-cell structure for improved airflow.
How it helps you sleep: Provide excellent support and pressure relief with enhanced breathability for a cooler sleeping environment, while the certification guarantees a healthier sleep product free from heavy metals such as mercury and lead.
Knitted Top Cover
What it is: A soft, knitted polyester cover that is removable and machine washable at 40°C.
How it helps you sleep: Provides a smooth, comfortable sleeping surface and is easy to keep clean - ideal for children's beds where spills and everyday wear are part of life.

Vs standard open coil children's mattresses: The Simba Hybrid® Kids uses individually responsive Aerocoil™ microsprings, which provide considerably better pressure relief and temperature regulation than traditional interconnected spring systems. The Simbatex® foam layer also offers more consistent support than basic polyester fillings.
Vs foam-only children's mattresses: Foam-only mattresses can sleep warmer and lack the responsive bounce of a sprung mattress. The hybrid construction here gives a more supportive and breathable result, better suited to the range of positions children sleep in.
Vs the wider Simba Hybrid® adult range: The Kids Mattress uses the same Aerocoil™ spring technology and CertiPUR® certified foam as Simba's adult range, but at a lower depth (16cm) specifically designed to be safe for use in bunk beds and cabin beds. The simpler layer construction keeps the price accessible without compromising on the fundamentals.
The Simba Hybrid® Kids Mattress is backed by Simba's 10-year manufacturer's guarantee against defects in materials and workmanship. If the mattress fails within that time, Simba will exchange it for a new one - giving you confidence in a mattress that's designed to last through childhood and beyond.
Real Homes Gold Rated - Awarded a Gold rating by Real Homes, recognising outstanding quality and performance in the children's mattress category.
The Independent Best Buy 2021 - Featured as a best buy by The Independent for delivering quality sleep for growing children.
B Corp Certified - Simba is the UK's first sleep brand to achieve B Corp certification, recognising their commitment to social and environmental responsibility.
Get the most out of your child's new Simba Hybrid® Kids Mattress by adding the Simba Performance Mattress Protector. Designed to protect against spills, stains, dust mites and everyday wear, this breathable and hypoallergenic protector helps keep the mattress fresh, clean and performing at its best for longer.
Soft, quiet and temperature-regulating, it adds an extra layer of comfort without changing the feel of the mattress - the practical choice for a child's bedroom.
The Simba Hybrid® Kids delivers the same Aerocoil™ spring technology found in Simba's adult range in a bunk-safe, washable, hypoallergenic package. With 200 nights to try it and a 10-year guarantee, it's a reliable, honest choice for a child's first proper mattress.
Choosing a mattress online takes trust. That's why the Simba Hybrid® Kids comes with a 200 night comfort guarantee - if it doesn't feel right, we'll exchange it. View the full mattress trial policy.
