Vs firmer models: The CoolFusion™ natural fibre top layer and Simbatex® foam layers give the Ultra noticeably more pressure relief than firmer Simba models, particularly across the hips and shoulders. If you share a bed or run hot at night, the Ultra is likely the better choice. Firmer options suit heavier sleepers or those who prefer minimal surface cushioning.
Vs softer models: The Ultra's combined spring system provides more structural support than softer Simba mattresses. Softer options may feel more immediately luxurious but can compromise spinal alignment for back or front sleepers, particularly over time. The Ultra offers the comfort of a plush top without sacrificing the underlying support structure.
Vs the Simba Hybrid® Luxe: The Ultra sits above the Luxe in Simba's range, with a higher spring count (up to 7,300 vs up to 5,700), two Simbatex® foam layers rather than one, and the exclusive CoolFusion™ natural fibre comfort layer. Both share the same quality of construction and titanium alloy spring technology; the Ultra simply delivers more of it.
The Simba Hybrid® Ultra comes with Simba's 10-year manufacturer's guarantee against defects in materials and workmanship. If the mattress fails within that time, Simba will exchange it for a new one. With CertiPUR® certified foams, titanium alloy springs and a durable base layer, this is a mattress built to go the distance.
The Simba Hybrid® Ultra has received 9 awards and accreditations, including:
National Bed Federation (NBF) Approved - Independently verified to meet strict UK standards for quality, safety and responsible manufacturing.
Good Housekeeping Institute Approved - Tested and approved by the Good Housekeeping Institute, one of the UK's most trusted consumer testing bodies.
The Independent Best Buy 2026 - Named a best buy by The Independent, recognising outstanding performance across comfort, value and innovation.
The Telegraph Recommended 2023 - Recommended by The Telegraph's sleep and wellbeing experts.
T3 Platinum Award - T3's highest honour for technology and product excellence in the sleep category.
Get the most out of your new Simba Hybrid® Ultra by adding the Simba Performance Mattress Protector. Designed to protect against spills, stains, dust mites and everyday wear, this breathable and hypoallergenic protector helps keep your mattress fresh, clean and performing at its best for longer.
