The Hybrid Ultra is a luxury hybrid mattress from Simba, made in Great Britain and built to suit back, front and combination sleepers who share a bed. It combines traditional pocket springs with Simba's titanium alloy Aerocoil™ springs, layered with Simbatex® foam, a latex and coconut PureLift™ support layer and a breathable FusionCool™ blend of wool, bamboo, charcoal and kapok. A soft, zip-off cooling cover with Stratos® technology sits on top, working with graphite-infused foam to help regulate temperature throughout the night. The result is a medium firm feel mattress that keeps you supported and cool, while independently pocketed and titanium alloy springs help minimise disturbance between sleeping partners.
A premium hybrid mattress best suited to sleepers who want medium firm support, effective cooling and minimal partner disturbance.
Medium Firm Feel - 4/6: A supportive feel with added stability. Ideal for people who change sleeping position during the night and need a balance of comfort and support.

Vs firmer mattresses: The Hybrid Ultra's layered foam and Aerocoil™ spring system give more pressure relief at the shoulders and hips than a firmer mattress can offer, while still supporting back and front sleeping positions. If you change position through the night or sleep with a partner, this is likely the more comfortable choice. Firmer mattresses tend to suit heavier sleepers or those who prefer a more rigid, supportive surface.
Vs softer mattresses: This mattress has considerably more structural support beneath its comfort layers, thanks to its dual spring system and stabilising foam core. Softer mattresses can feel more immediately plush but may not maintain spinal alignment as consistently, especially for combination sleepers or couples of different body weights.
Vs premium and luxury mattresses: The Hybrid Ultra shares the same combination of pocket springs, titanium alloy Aerocoil™ springs and cooling technology found in more expensive hybrid mattresses. The difference typically comes down to the depth of the comfort layers rather than any compromise in the underlying support system or build quality.
Note for the buying team: the comparison links above (/mattresses/firm and /mattresses/soft) need path confirmation before this page goes live.
The Hybrid Ultra is backed by Simba's 10 year manufacturer's guarantee against defects in materials and workmanship. Given the combination of high carbon steel and titanium alloy springs with certified foams, this is a mattress built for the long term, and the guarantee reflects that confidence.

Good Housekeeping Institute Approved - Tested and approved by the Good Housekeeping Institute, giving you independent, trusted assurance of the mattress's quality and performance.
B Corp Certified - Simba is certified as a B Corporation, meaning it meets independently verified standards of social and environmental performance, accountability and transparency.
The Hybrid Ultra delivers a genuinely supportive, temperature-regulating night's sleep, combining pocket springs, titanium alloy Aerocoil™ springs and a cooling FusionCool™ and Stratos® cover. If you're a back, front or combination sleeper, share a bed, or simply run hot at night, this is a mattress worth considering.
Choosing a mattress online takes trust. That's why the Hybrid Ultra comes with a 200 night comfort guarantee - if it doesn't feel right, we'll exchange it. View the full mattress trial policy.
