The Sleepeezee Hotel Supreme 1400 Divan Bed is a complete divan set from Sleepeezee, the British bed maker and Royal Warrant holder that has been crafting beds since 1924. Every set pairs a solid Platform Top divan base, upholstered in a range of fabrics and colours, with the Hotel Supreme 1400 mattress - a hand-tufted, medium-firm (4/6) pocket spring mattress built on a 1,400-count spring system and layered with natural wool and cotton. The base is crafted using sustainably sourced timber and comes with a choice of drawer or ottoman storage, while the base carries a 10-year guarantee and the mattress a 5-year guarantee, so you're covered from the ground up.
A complete divan bed set from Sleepeezee, including the hand-tufted, medium-firm (4/6) Hotel Supreme 1400 mattress with natural wool and cotton fillings, a sustainably timbered Platform Top base available in a range of fabrics and colours, flexible storage options, and guarantees covering both base and mattress.
Best for
Not ideal for
Worth knowing:
Platform Top Base
What it is: A solid wooden top upholstered in fabric, available in a range of fabrics and colours, with a non-slip fabric surface to help keep the mattress in place.
How it helps you: Provides a firm, stable and consistent feel across the entire mattress surface. It's a genuine Sleepeezee base, crafted using sustainably sourced timber and backed by a 10-year guarantee.
Storage Options
What it is: Choose from non-storage, hardwood timber storage drawers (weight limit 15kg per drawer), or a side or end opening ottoman base that uses a gas ram mechanism to lift the base top.
How it helps you: Drawers give easy day-to-day access to spare bedding without lifting the mattress. The ottoman option offers significantly more capacity - around 6 times more storage than a 2-drawer divan on a king size - for customers who need maximum space and don't need daily access.
The Included Mattress: Sleepeezee Hotel Supreme 1400
What it is: A hand-tufted, medium-firm (4/6) pocket spring mattress built on a 1,400-count spring system, layered with natural wool and cotton, finished with a triple-row side stitched border and a 62% Viscose/38% Cotton damask cover.
How it helps you: The 1,400 individually wrapped springs respond to your body's shape while minimising motion transfer to your partner. The wool layer regulates temperature naturally, and the reinforced border extends support right to the edge of the mattress. This is a double-sided mattress - turn and rotate weekly for the first 3 months, then monthly thereafter.

Vs bed frames: A divan set sits lower to the floor and has a fully upholstered profile, with no exposed legs or joints. The set includes the mattress, whereas bed frame buyers purchase their mattress separately. Bed frames offer more visual design variety but no integrated base support tailored to the mattress.
Vs other divan sets in this price range: At this price point, the Hotel Supreme 1400 set offers a genuine 1,400-count pocket spring mattress with natural wool and cotton fillings and hand-tufted construction, paired with a sustainably timbered base and a 10-year base guarantee - specifications that are often reserved for higher-priced ranges.
Vs premium and luxury divan ranges: This set shares the same upholstered Platform Top base construction and genuine pocket spring technology as higher-priced divan ranges. The difference is typically in the depth of the comfort layers and the number of natural fillings in the mattress, rather than any compromise in base quality or craftsmanship.
The Sleepeezee Hotel Supreme 1400 divan base is backed by Sleepeezee's 10-year manufacturer's guarantee against defects in materials and workmanship, with the included mattress covered separately by a 5-year guarantee. Given the sustainably sourced timber construction and hand-tufted mattress, this is a set built to last - the guarantees reflect that.
The Sleepeezee Hotel Supreme 1400 Divan Bed has received 3 awards and accreditations, including:
Good Housekeeping Approved - independently tested and approved by Good Housekeeping, a recognised mark of quality and performance.
Sleepeezee Royal Warrant Holder - Sleepeezee has proudly held a Royal Warrant since the brand's founding in 1924, a standard of craftsmanship that has to be earned and maintained.
CRIB 5 (Source 5) Fire Tested - tested to pass UK Fire Regulations 1988 to contract and hotel standard, exceeding the requirements for typical domestic use.
The Hotel Supreme 1400 divan set brings genuine hotel-grade comfort home in one complete purchase: a sustainably timbered Platform Top base and a hand-tufted, 1,400-count pocket spring mattress, both from a British brand that's held a Royal Warrant since 1924. If you want dependable, medium-firm support and flexible storage in one considered set, this is worth a closer look.
