The Tempur Arc is a fabric ottoman bed from Tempur, designed in collaboration with award-winning design agency Studio Stockholm and available in King Size and Super King Size. Built on a gas-lift base with integrated loop handles, the frame opens to reveal full-width internal storage beneath. The Arc uses Tempur's customisable disc base in place of traditional slats, allowing individual discs to be adjusted and arranged into softer and firmer zones for a personalised sleeping surface. Five headend options are available - Horizon (no headend), Form, Vertical, Quilted and Vectra - with a wide choice of fabric colours and leg styles to complete the look.

Worth Knowing
Gas-Lift Ottoman Base
What it is: A solid base built on gas piston rams with integrated loop handles that lifts upward in one movement to reveal the full internal storage area across the entire footprint of the base.
How it helps you: One smooth lift opens the entire storage space without the need for side clearance. No drawers to pull out, no furniture to move. The gas rams assist with lifting so there is no strain involved.
Customisable Disc Base
What it is: A fully customisable disc-style base system where individual discs flex with the body and can be arranged into softer and firmer support zones. Openings between the discs allow airflow through the base for ongoing mattress ventilation.
How it helps you: Provides a precise and personalised level of support - discs adjust to your individual shape and movement, and the arrangement can be changed to suit your preferred feel. Ventilation through the disc openings also helps keep your mattress fresh over time.
Fabric Upholstery
What it is: The Arc is available in three fabric collections. Velvets are soft and elegant with a tone-in-tone backing, available in Dark Grey, Dark Green, Copper and Gold. Luxury weave uses light glossy yarns for a richer feel, available in Natural Grey, Forest Green, Copper Red and Mustard. Performance fabrics include Greys (Stone, Warm Stone, Dark Stone, Sand), Brown, Pearl Grey, Charcoal Grey and Ash Grey. All fabrics are resistant to pilling, yarn breakage, tearage and colour fading.
How it helps you: A wide choice of high-quality, durable fabrics means the bed can be matched to your bedroom scheme with confidence that the finish will hold its appearance over time. All fabrics are easy to care for.
Leg Options
What it is: Every Arc storage base includes a set of button feet (10mm) as standard, giving a base height of 28cm and 1cm of under-bed clearance. A free second set of legs is also included - choose from black tapered with brass foot, chrome tapered, round matt black, round natural ash, or round matt black with oak foot. With any of these legs the base height is 39cm with 12cm of under-bed clearance. All legs use M8 thread.
How it helps you: The button foot gives a clean, close-to-floor profile suited to contemporary rooms. The 120mm legs raise the frame, create more visual space beneath the base and can be matched to the room's existing furniture and finishes.
Headend Options
What it is: Five headend styles are available as separate listings. Horizon is the no-headend option for a minimal profile, with a base height of 28cm (button foot) or 39cm (legs). Form is a plain upholstered fabric panel inspired by Scandinavian nature, reaching 74cm from floor to top. Vertical has a distinctive linear panelled pattern at 90cm. Quilted has a soft diamond quilted design at 90cm. Vectra has a curved contemporary horizontal design at 80cm.
How it helps you: Allows the bed to be tailored precisely to your bedroom - from a low streamlined Horizon profile through to a full statement headboard with the Quilted or Vectra options.

The TEMPUR Arc is available in five headend configurations, each available across the full size range and upholstered in the same fabric choices as the base. The headend style is selected at purchase. Heights given are from floor to top of headend, based on button foot.
No Headend - Horizon
A frameless design with no headboard panel. The Horizon gives the Arc its most minimal, contemporary look - letting the base and disc system take centre stage. The right choice for bedrooms where a clean, furniture-forward aesthetic is the priority, or where a separate headboard is already in place.
Form
Drawing inspiration from Scandinavian nature, the Form headboard gives a calm, natural feel. A plain upholstered fabric panel with a simple, smooth profile - suited to those who want a tidy, unfussy headend without decorative detail. Total height from floor: 74cm.
Vertical
A vertically panelled headend that evokes the harmonious lines of nature with a distinctive linear pattern. The Vertical adds texture and structure while keeping the overall look tailored and contemporary. Total height from floor: 90cm.
Quilted
Expressing both tradition and modernity, the Quilted headend has a firm outer shape with soft-to-the-touch diamond quilting. The right choice for those who want a classic upholstered look with warmth and depth. Total height from floor: 90cm.
Vectra
Celebrating TEMPUR's NASA heritage, the Vectra has a curved, contemporary design with horizontal lines paying homage to spacecraft interiors. A premium, modern finish that works well in minimalist and design-led bedrooms. Total height from floor: 80cm.
Vs drawer storage beds: Ottoman storage requires no side clearance - the base lifts upward rather than opening sideways. In a room where the bed sits close to a wall or fitted wardrobes, drawer beds often cannot be opened fully. The Arc is accessible from the lift side only, with no floor clearance needed on the other three sides.
Vs divan beds: A divan set typically includes a matched mattress and sits lower to the floor with less visible frame. The Arc is designed bedroom furniture in its own right - developed with Studio Stockholm, available in a wide range of fabric colours and colourways, and configurable with five headend styles. If the room needs the bed to make a visual contribution as well as provide storage, the Arc gives considerably more character than a standard divan.
Vs standard upholstered frames without storage: An upholstered frame without storage offers more variety in size and style across the broader range. The Arc is the right choice when storage and base personalisation are as important as appearance - the customisable disc system and ottoman base together replace the need for a separate chest of drawers and allow the sleeping surface to be adjusted to individual preference.
The Tempur Arc is backed by Tempur's manufacturer's guarantee against defects in materials and workmanship. The bed frame and headboard carry a 10 year guarantee. The customisable disc base system, ottoman storage net, pistons and hinges carry a 5 year guarantee. Given the quality of materials and construction throughout, this is a bed built to last well beyond the guarantee period.
FSC Certified Timber - Independently certified confirmation that the timber used in the Arc has been sourced from forests that are responsibly managed to meet environmental, social and economic standards. A straightforward assurance that the bed is built with sustainable materials.
Certified Space Technology - Tempur is the only bedding brand certified by the Space Foundation as a technology originally developed for space and adapted for consumer use. The certification covers Tempur material and applies across the Tempur range. It reflects over 30 years of sleep research and a standard of performance that has to be earned.
The Tempur Arc combines full-width gas-lift ottoman storage with a customisable disc base, a wide choice of high-quality fabrics and a selection of five headend styles - from the clean Horizon profile with no headend to the structured Quilted or contemporary Vectra designs. Available in King Size and Super King Size with a 10 year frame guarantee and free UK delivery.
