Vs buying a complete divan set: A full divan set includes both the base and a matched mattress, chosen and tested to work together. A bed base alone is the better choice when you already have a Vispring mattress you want to keep, or when you're replacing a base that's worn out while the mattress remains in good condition.
Vs a platform top vs a sprung base: A platform top base provides a firm, flat surface and suits all mattress types including memory foam and latex. This Sprung Divan Base adds a layer of spring response from the base itself, which can extend the life of the mattress by absorbing part of the daily load - a good match if your mattress is on the firmer side or you want a softer overall feel.
Vs other bases in the range: This clearance listing gives access to genuine Vispring base construction - unchanged from the standard Sovereign range - at a saving versus buying new, in exchange for possible light cosmetic wear from display.
The Sovereign comes with Vispring's 30-year guarantee against defects in materials and workmanship.
NBF Approved - Independently verified to meet strict UK standards for quality, safety and responsible manufacturing.
FSC Certified - Independently certified confirmation that the timber used in this base has been sourced from responsibly managed forests.

Handcrafted in Britain since 1901 - Vispring has handcrafted beds in the UK for over 120 years, and were behind the world's first pocket-sprung divan.
