HD Pocket Springs
What it is: Harrison Spinks' world-first HD spring, made with lightweight titanium alloy. 18,000 mini pocket springs work completely independently of each other for three-dimensional support.
How it helps you sleep: These springs adapt to your body's contours to relieve pressure while you sleep, giving greater comfort and lumbar support. They also help push the natural fillings back into their original position, keeping the mattress performing well for longer.
Advanced Cortecâ„¢ Quad Revolution Pocket Springs
What it is: 6,750 spring-within-a-spring pocket springs, where a smaller inner spring nests inside a larger outer spring to deliver two distinct levels of firmness.
How it helps you sleep: The outer spring provides initial softness and comfort, while the inner spring activates for deeper, more responsive support - tailoring itself to your unique shape and promoting optimal posture throughout the night.
Wool and Viscose Blended Layer
What it is: A soft, breathable blend where natural wool combines with smooth viscose.
How it helps you sleep: Provides gentle warmth, excellent moisture control and a silky texture that keeps you feeling fresh throughout the night.

How it helps you sleep: Works together to provide excellent breathability and effective moisture-wicking, helping regulate temperature and keep you feeling fresh.
British Wool, Cashmere and Alpaca Layer

How it helps you sleep: British Wool provides robust breathability, Cashmere lends exquisite softness, and hypoallergenic Alpaca offers gentle insulation - together creating a plush, naturally temperature-regulating layer.
Wool and Mohair Blended Layer
What it is: A blend of natural wool and smooth, silky mohair.
How it helps you sleep: Provides excellent breathability and temperature regulation for a comfortable, luxurious feel that helps you stay cosy and relaxed throughout the night.

4 Rows of Side Stitching
What it is: Multiple rows of stitching applied along the sides of the mattress, reinforcing the border.
How it helps you sleep: Extends the sleeping area to the mattress edge by supporting the mattress walls, giving consistent support across the full surface.
Flag-Stitched Handles
What it is: Handles sewn onto the sides of the mattress using a flag-stitch method (number varies by size).

Vs firmer mattresses: The Soft and Medium tensions of the Saphira Deluxe give noticeably more pressure relief at the shoulders and hips than a firm mattress. If you sleep on your side or share a bed, these tensions are likely the better choice. Firmer mattresses, including the Saphira Deluxe's own Firm tension, suit heavier sleepers or those who want a more rigid, supportive surface.
Vs softer mattresses: For customers who choose the Medium or Firm tension, the Saphira Deluxe offers more structural support beneath its natural comfort layers than a softer mattress. Softer mattresses can feel more immediately plush but may not maintain spinal alignment as consistently - especially for combination sleepers or couples with different body weights.
Vs premium and luxury mattresses: The Saphira Deluxe shares the same handcrafted construction, dual pocket spring technology and natural fillings found in higher-priced luxury ranges. The difference is typically in the depth and rarity of the comfort layers used, rather than any compromise in quality or craftsmanship.
The Harrison Spinks Saphira Deluxe is backed by Harrison Spinks' 10-year manufacturer's guarantee against defects in materials and workmanship. Given the quality of the natural fillings and the handcrafted construction, this is a mattress built to last - the guarantee reflects that.
Harrison Spinks has received 7 awards and accreditations since 2013, including:
The Saphira Deluxe delivers a rare combination: genuine luxury feel, dual pocket spring support, and breathable natural materials - all handcrafted in Britain and backed by a 10-year guarantee. Whether you're a side, back, front or combination sleeper, choosing your preferred tension of Soft, Medium or Firm means you can find the feel that's right for you.
