The TEMPUR Arc is a motorised adjustable bed base, built around an innovative disc support system that replaces traditional wooden slats - allowing the sleeper to rearrange individual flexible discs without tools to create softer or firmer zones across the full surface. The base raises and lowers the head and foot independently via a wireless remote, with a zero gravity preset that lifts both ends simultaneously to reduce pressure on the spine - making it suited to those who read or watch television in bed, manage snoring or acid reflux, or want to use positioning to ease back or joint discomfort. Available in a choice of five headend styles - No Headend (Horizon), Form, Vertical, Quilted, or Vectra - with King and Super King sizes supplied as a split design of two linked bases, each with its own wireless remote and independent motor control. No mattress is included; the Arc base is compatible with any TEMPUR mattress and is backed by a 10-year frame guarantee and a 3-year guarantee on the motor and electrical components. OEKO-TEX Standard 100 and TUV Rheinland Certified. VAT relief is available for eligible customers.
A motorised adjustable bed base with an innovative disc support system and wireless remote control, designed for sleepers who want independent head and foot positioning for comfort, recovery, or managing health conditions - sold as a base only, to be paired with a TEMPUR mattress of your choice.

Worth Knowing
Disc Support System
What it is: A base surface made up of individual flexible discs that can be rearranged by hand without tools to create different support zones across the sleep surface.
How it helps you: Lets you dial in softer support under the shoulders and firmer support under the lower back - or any combination that suits you - without needing to buy a different mattress. Gaps between the discs also allow air to circulate through the base, keeping your mattress fresh.
Independent Head and Foot Adjustment
What it is: A motorised system that raises and lowers the head section and the foot section of the base separately, each controlled from the wireless remote.
How it helps you: Lets you find a position that works for sleeping flat, reading upright, watching television, or managing a health condition - without one end affecting the other.
Zero Gravity Preset
What it is: A one-touch position on the wireless remote that raises both the head and the foot sections simultaneously to a preset ergonomic angle.
How it helps you: Distributes body weight evenly across the base, reducing pressure on the lower back, joints, and circulation - a position commonly recommended for those recovering from surgery or managing ongoing back pain.
Wireless Remote Control
What it is: A battery-powered remote that operates both motors without a cable, with dedicated buttons for head and foot adjustment, the zero gravity preset, and a flat reset.
How it helps you: Lets you adjust the bed from anywhere in the room without leaning across - particularly useful for couples on a split King or Super King, where each person has their own independent remote.
Twin Motor Mechanism
What it is: Two separate motors - one controlling the head section, one the foot - operated independently from the wireless remote.
How it helps you: Means head and foot positions can be changed at the same time or separately without one movement affecting the other, giving precise control over your sleeping or resting position.
Leg Options
What it is: A choice of six leg styles for the Arc base - one button foot option and five alternative leg designs, all selected at the time of purchase.
How it helps you: The button foot keeps the base low at 28cm total height with 1cm of under-bed clearance - ideal for a minimal, furniture-forward look. Any of the five other legs raise the base to 39cm with 12cm of under-bed clearance, giving useful space beneath the bed for storage or easier cleaning access.
Modular No-Tool Assembly
What it is: The Arc is delivered in 5 boxes and built using a modular component system that requires no tools.
How it helps you: Makes setup quicker and easier than most adjustable beds, and means the base can be disassembled and moved through tight spaces if you need to relocate it.

Important: The Arc is 207cm (6ft 10in) long - longer than a standard UK bed (190cm) and longer than most other adjustable beds. Check room dimensions carefully before ordering, including wall clearance for the headend when the head section is raised.
The TEMPUR Arc is available in five headend configurations, each available across the full size range and upholstered in the same fabric choices as the base. The headend style is selected at purchase. Heights given are from floor to top of headend, based on button foot.
No Headend - Horizon
A frameless design with no headboard panel. The Horizon gives the Arc its most minimal, contemporary look - letting the base and disc system take centre stage. The right choice for bedrooms where a clean, furniture-forward aesthetic is the priority, or where a separate headboard is already in place.
Form
Drawing inspiration from Scandinavian nature, the Form headboard gives a calm, natural feel. A plain upholstered fabric panel with a simple, smooth profile - suited to those who want a tidy, unfussy headend without decorative detail. Total height from floor: 74cm.
Vertical
A vertically panelled headend that evokes the harmonious lines of nature with a distinctive linear pattern. The Vertical adds texture and structure while keeping the overall look tailored and contemporary. Total height from floor: 90cm.
Quilted
Expressing both tradition and modernity, the Quilted headend has a firm outer shape with soft-to-the-touch diamond quilting. The right choice for those who want a classic upholstered look with warmth and depth. Total height from floor: 90cm.
Vectra
Celebrating TEMPUR's NASA heritage, the Vectra has a curved, contemporary design with horizontal lines paying homage to spacecraft interiors. A premium, modern finish that works well in minimalist and design-led bedrooms. Total height from floor: 80cm.
Vs standard divan beds: A standard divan bed sits flat and cannot be adjusted. The TEMPUR Arc allows independent elevation of the head and foot end, which is useful for reading, watching TV, managing snoring or acid reflux, or supporting recovery from illness or surgery. Divan beds are typically lower in profile, simpler to dress, and cost significantly less. The Arc is the right choice when positioning matters - for health reasons or everyday comfort. If a flat, low-profile bed is what you need, a divan is the better fit.
Vs other adjustable beds in the range: The TEMPUR Arc stands apart from most adjustable bases through its disc support system - where other adjustable beds use sprung wooden slats, the Arc uses individual flexible discs that can be rearranged to customise the support zones across the surface without tools. The choice of five headend styles, six leg options, and a wide fabric range also means the Arc can be styled to suit most bedrooms far more precisely than a standard adjustable base. For buyers who want an adjustable base from a brand with a long heritage in sleep technology, the Arc is the premium option in the range.
Vs buying a TEMPUR mattress separately: The Arc is a base only and is designed to be paired with a TEMPUR mattress. Any TEMPUR mattress sold at Land of Beds is compatible with this base. If you are buying your first adjustable bed setup, purchasing the base and mattress together ensures compatibility and a complete, coordinated sleep system. If you already have a compatible adjustable base and simply want to upgrade the mattress, browse our full range of TEMPUR mattresses.
The TEMPUR Arc is backed by a 10-year guarantee on the frame, covering the base against defects in materials and workmanship for a decade. The adjustable mechanism is guaranteed separately for 5 years, and the electrical components - including the motor and wireless remote - are covered for 3 years. A dedicated guarantee term for the electrical components is an important reassurance on an adjustable bed, where the motors are the most mechanically complex part of the product. Together, the three-tier guarantee reflects TEMPUR's confidence in the long-term build quality of the Arc.
OEKO-TEX Standard 100 - An independent certification confirming the Arc has been tested for harmful substances and that all components meet strict safety standards for human health.
TUV Rheinland Certified - Independently verified for product quality and safety by one of the world's leading testing and certification organisations.
Designed by Studio Stockholm - The TEMPUR Arc collection was created in collaboration with Studio Stockholm, a respected Scandinavian design agency, combining sleep technology with considered bedroom furniture design.
The TEMPUR Arc is an adjustable bed base built around an innovative disc support system, wireless remote control, and a zero gravity preset - available in five headend styles from the clean Horizon through to the Vectra's curved contemporary finish, so it can be tailored to suit both your sleep needs and your bedroom. With a 10-year frame guarantee and the backing of TEMPUR's heritage in sleep technology, it is a long-term investment in better sleep positioning. Available in King and Super King, with both sizes supplied as a split design for fully independent adjustment per side, and free UK delivery included.
